A total of 50 main events and 200 more organizsed by the state governments will be held during the Visit Malaysia Year 2007. Among the new events are the World of Music and Dance Festival, Flora Festival and International Fireworks Festival. The list of events can be found in our website as well.

Domestic Travel Fair 8-10 Dec'06 at KL Sentral

A total of about 35 agents took part in a domestic travel fair organized by Tourism Malaysia at the KL Sentral from 8 to 10 Dec'06 to promote domestic toursim to the local market in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2007.

The findings of Tourism Malaysia annual hotel survey reveals that more than 50 percent of Malaysians travel within the country. As such, it is necessary to be enriched with exciting domestic travel packages in order to further boost the holiday habit and culture among Malaysians. There were some foreign tourists also came to the fair.
