Greetings from Berjaya Hotels & Resorts, Corporate Office! Following our last update dated 3 January 2006, we are pleased to provide updates on the latest progressive construction works at the Berjaya Redang Beach Resort. Enclosed herewith is the site map to further explain the current development. | |||||
(i) Building works for Block A, B & C are completed and in service. Block A & B are consist of Redang Hillview Rooms while Block C is a combination of Redang Hillview and Redang Seaview Rooms. These contemporary rooms are tastefully furnished and equipped with modern facilities such as colour TV, ceiling fan, ensuite bathroom with cubicle shower and long bath, sun deck chair and a private balcony. Rooms are available for booking from May 2006. Please see attached picture for the actual room view. (ii) Building works for Block D which consists of Redang Seaview Rooms are completed but not ready for booking now and the entire Block D is kept as "buffer" to ensure that no guests are accommodated close to the "construction area". (iii) Architectural works for Block E (18 units consists of Redang Seaview Rooms and Premier Suites) are currently in progress and are expected to be completed by April 2007. Construction works are being carried out from 8am to 6pm daily and do not affect our current hotel operations. Continuous efforts are being undertaken to keep the noise and dust levels as minimal as possible. Please take note that upon completion of the first 4 blocks, ongoing construction works at Block E with occasional lorry movements are to be seen at the site. Nevertheless, we are taking the necessary measures to maintain the similar hospitality and comfort at Berjaya Redang Beach Resort during this progressive expansion. Our guests' safety and comfort have always been our top priority. In line with the opening of the new room category, Berjaya Redang Beach Resort has recently unveiled its new Food & Beverage outlet. The newly opened Jing Thai Restaurant features a relaxed ambience of al fresco and indoor dining experience. The Unique Selling Point is that the restaurant commands an absolutely breathtaking seaview of the South China Sea. This restaurant offers guests an option of Thai or Western cuisine as well as light snacks, pasta, salads and desserts.
