‘Reagan’ sails in for a visit

PORT KLANG: The world’s largest nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan, is on its first goodwill visit to Malaysia.

Port Klang is the fourth port of call for the 333m-long American warship since its deployment to the Western Pacific from its home port in San Diego, California, early this year.

Rehabilitation Centre Reopening of the visitor's platform

The partly reconstruction of Platform A that will be able to accommodate a maximum of 150 visitors has been completed and can be utilised by visitors.

Therefore, the management of Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre will reopen the platform and all activities will be in operation as normal effective 01st November 2006.

Rail track to link terminals

Travel to the low-cost terminal from KL International Airport will be easier and faster as the Government has in principle approved the construction of a railway track between the two terminals.
