We depart for Batang Ai passing through scenic countryside consisting of quaint little towns, villages, padi fields, pepper and oil palm plantations interspersed with secondary and virgin jungle as the road starts to wind and undulate as you go deeper into the interior with a short stopover at Serian Town. The second stopover will be for lunch at Lachau, a small town on the way to the resort. Arrive at Batang Ai Hydro Lake. The journey will take you across the lake into the Engkari River, one of the many tributaries flowing into the lake. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes before reaching Mengkak Longhouse nestled on a hill beside the river. Visit this 37 door longhouse. The Iban are a fun-loving people, and visitors are expected to join in whatever activities are going on at the Longhouse! Enjoy the cultural performance by the Iban people! Overnight at the longhouse where you will be spending your night at the ruai (the longhouse common room). As for the washroom / toilet facilities, you will be sharing with the Ibans. (L/D)

After breakfast, witness and participate in the blowpipe demonstration. Then take a short walk around the vicinity of the longhouse & observe the longhouse resident going about their daily life. Lunch is served at the longhouse. Afternoon free at own leisure. Overnight at the longhouse where you will be spending your night at the ruai (the longhouse common room). Common washroom / toilet facilities, you will be sharing with the Ibans. (B/L/D)

Breakfast at longhouse. Depart for Kuching via the same route as per your arrival. Stopover at midway for lunch before continue return journey to Kuching (B/L).
