Kudat Longhouse & Tip of Borneo (ex-Kota Kinabalu)

Day 1	Depart early morning for a 3 hour long journey to Kudat, the land of the last longhouses in Sabah. After checking in to the resort upon your arrival at Kudat, it is free at leisure to enjoy the resort’s facilities. At 1530hrs, be met by your guide at the hotel lobby and proceed for a 1 hour drive to the ‘Tip of Borneo’ to watch the beautiful sun disappear beyond the horizon. Also, witness the picturesque view of the South China Sea meeting Sulu Sea. Later, head back to the Rosort to freshen up before proceeding for dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight Resort.
Day 2	After breakfast at the Resort, proceed to the Kudat market to have the opportunity to buy local dried food, vegetables or fruits. Later, depart to the Bavanggazo Rungus Longhouse. Upon arrival, welcome drinks are served. At the longhouse, watch and admire the skills of the locals as they weave bead necklaces and bracelets, as well as produce homespun cloth made from cotton. Enjoy your lunch while you watch a local dance performance known as the ‘Magunatip’. Later, proceed ot visit the Gombizau Village, where you have the chance to wahtch how local honey is produced. Also do not miss the opportunity to buy authentic local handicrafts and souvenirs. Next stop, the Sumangkap Village, a well known gong (a traditional instrument) making centre. Return back to your hotel.
