Meet on arrival at Mulu Airport and transfer to the resort.  In the afternoon, we will register at Mulu National Park Headquarter.  Take the 3km plankwalk to explore Lang’s and Deer Caves.  We will watch the bats flight if weather permits.  Return to the Park Headquarter and transfer to resort.  Overnight at resort. 

Breakfast at resort.  We will take a boat in the morning travelling upstream on the Melinau River to explore Wind Cave.  Later after lunch at Clearwater Hut, we will travel by boat to Long Litut.  We will trek through lowland forest for 8.8km to Camp 5.  Dinner and overnight at Camp 5.

Breakfast at resort.  We will ascend Mt. Api to an elevation of 1200m to view the Pinnacles.  Packed lunch at the viewpoint before we descend to camp 5 for dinner and overnight.

Breakfast at camp.  We will trek back to Long Litut and take the boat to Clearwater Cave.  Explore the cave and lunch at Clearwater Hut before our boat transfer to the airport.

 Clothing:

 
 1. The tropical days are hot and humid and we recommend light, comfortable shirts.
     Casual wear is acceptable for most occasions in the city; on trips to the interior
     (jungle), shorts & T-shirts may be more appropriate.

 2. For most trips, bring along your swimming gear but please respect local modesty.
     Light rain coat/wear is a must as invariably; there will be an encounter with rain.
     Don’t forget thin towels, sun hats to protect against the sun. 


 Footwear:

 
 1. For jungle trip a comfortable hiking or walking shoes that have no fear of jungle
     streams or muddy trails are recommended. For trips that do not require a great
     deal of walking, a good sneaker will do. A pair of flip-flop, slippers should be
     included. Please note that locally, there may be difficulty in getting footwear in large
     sizes.  


 Important:

 
 1. Torchlight & insect repellant is a must for jungle trip. As with other trips, a
     backpack and water bottle will come in handy. Bring along plastic bags to keep
     clothes and cameras dry in case of rain. Cooking salt is good for getting rid of
     leeches . Apart from personal toiletries include in your pack, a basic first aid kit
     should include band-aids, mild antiseptic cream for insect bites or light scratches.
