Meet on arrival in Limbang before noon and transfer by coach for approximately 1½ hours to Kuala Medamit and then by open longboat along the Limbang River to Kuala Medalam Iban Longhouse. In the evening join the locals in their cultural activities. Dinner and overnight at longhouse with the host family. 

After breakfast we travel by open longboat for approximately 4 hours. At times when the water level is low, we are required to push the boat. We arrive Kuala Terikan, the starting point of the 12 km headhunters trail. Packed lunch at Kuala Terikan before we trek the 12 headhunters trail to Camp 5. The jungle trails is on lowland forest. We will arrive Camp 5 late evening. Dinner and overnight at this simple jungle lodge.

Early breakfast at Camp 5 prepared by your guide and then we ascend Mt. Api to an elevation of 1200m to view the Pinnacles. Trek distance is 2.4km and will take us through some steep climb. Return to camp 5 for dinner and overnight.

 Day 4

After break we trek through lowland forest (9m) to Long Litut and then by boat to Wind and Clearwater caves. Lunch at Clearwater Hut before we travel further downstream to Mulu Park HQ. Take the 3 km plankwalk to epxlore Deer and Lang's Caves. Watch the bats flight if weather permits and return to the Park HQ. Transfer to Royal Mulu Resort.   

 
Day 5

Breakfast at hotel.  Proceed for an overland transfer to Mulu Airport for your onward flight back home.

 Clothing:

 
 1. The tropical days are hot and humid and we recommend light, comfortable shirts.
     Casual wear is acceptable for most occasions in the city; on trips to the interior
     (jungle), shorts & T-shirts may be more appropriate.

 2. For most trips, bring along your swimming gear but please respect local modesty.
     Light rain coat/wear is a must as invariably; there will be an encounter with rain.
     Don’t forget thin towels, sun hats to protect against the sun. 


 Footwear:

 
 1. For jungle trip a comfortable hiking or walking shoes that have no fear of jungle  
     streams or muddy trails are recommended. For trips that do not require a great
     deal of walking, a good sneaker will do. A pair of flip-flop, slippers should be
     included. Please note that locally, there may be difficulty in getting footwear in large
     sizes.

 
 Important:

 
 1. Torchlight & insect repellant is a must for jungle trip. As with other trips, a
     backpack and water bottle will come in handy. Bring along plastic bags to keep
     clothes and cameras dry in case of rain. Cooking salt is good for getting rid of 
     leeches. Apart from personal toiletries include in your pack, a basic first aid kit
     should include band-aids, mild antiseptic cream for insect bites or light scratches.
