KL International Tower Jump
In conjunction with 49th Hari Kemerdekaan, Menara Kuala Lumpur inspire to showcase its annual signature extreame sports event, Kuala Lumpur International B.A.S.E Jump. In addition to this, to celebrate Menara Kuala Lumpur 10th Anniversary in October this year, the tower would like to advance this event to the next level bringing in more challenge and excitement to the 'dare devil' jumpers from across the world. As such "KL Tower International Jump 2006 - Merdeka Circuit", bringing the jumpers to experience vast geographical challangers in the places, which they jump.

Traditionally, jumpers are requried to jump at Menara Kuala Lumpur and Alor Star. This year the tower would like to add on propose list of commercial and administration buildings such as Menara Tun Mustapha at Kota Kinabalu Sabah and Menara Komtar at Pulau Pinang. The objective initiative to promote Visit Malaysia 2007.

Lastly, in line with our tower's philosophy being Tower Of Hope, we would like to continued this noble intention to incorporated a charity element into this pretigious event and has nominated Persatuan Syndrome Down Malaysia as beneficiary from Menara Kuala Lumpur.

B.A.S.E jump is not only very alien to Malaysia but to the general public as well.

The acronym B.A.S.E stands for;

B - Buildings
A - Antennas
S - Spans
E - Earth

These are four type of platforms used in this kind of sport.
