The hotel's lowest room category - Superior rooms will be on a refurbishment program which started on 17th January 2007. There will be 6 floors to be covered and each floor takes about 3 weeks to complete by end of April 2007. The works comprise the wall painting within the room and floor / walk-way corridors, remove bathrooom grouting, spots and desktop varnishing. The hotel is closing and doing the rooms on floor by floor basis and works will be done during day time which there will be minimal disturbance to other rooms, floors and guest comfort.
