Hiking up Mt Kinabalu from Timpohon Gate @ 1,866m

Depart from your hotel for a 3 hours drive into the Northern Tip of Sabah. Drive to the TIP of Kudat, also known as Simpang Mengayau.

Drive along the ridges of the Crocker Range to the Kinabalu Park. Along the highway, stop at Nabalu Market for handicrafts and meet the indigenous Dusun people.

Journey to Labang village in the interior for a short boat transfer to Pungiton Camp.

Commence your journey to Timpohon Gate and then you will start your trek to Laban Rata which will take approximately 4-5 hours depending on individual fitness levels.
